Pijalnie Czekolady Sp. z o.o. is a chain of establishments where authentic Wedel chocolate is served. The chocolate and confectionery products are made by Lotte Wedel company (formerly E. Wedel) – the oldest chocolate factory in Poland, with over 160 years of tradition.

The company has its headquarters located in Warsaw and 20 branches spread across Poland. To improve asset management across all locations, the decision was made to implement the OPTIest® system. This solution enabled fast and secure asset management through the use of barcode technology. OPTIDATA’s software also eliminated the problem of tracking assets being moved between the various Lounges. As a result, the management team now has reliable information about fixed assets.

One of the many conveniences offered by the OPTIest® system is the streamlining of the fixed asset disposal process through the introduction of electronic document workflow. In the web version of the OPTIest® system, a disposal document is generated and follows an approval path, after which the asset can be disposed of. This process is handled in the web version using email notifications sent via OPTIest® tools. Additionally, the OPTIest® system includes a mechanism that enables data import from the financial and accounting system.
