Traditional fixed assets and equipment inventory is an extremely time-consuming process and carries a high risk of errors. Accounting staff are expected to be both fast and accurate when reconciling inventory data, comparing it with records, and preparing final inventory documentation. The IT support referred to in the communication involves:

  • Electronic completion of inventory documentation,
  • Use of specialized software designed for conducting physical stocktaking,
  • Conducting stocktaking using mobile devices with dedicated software.

Proper organization, as well as a correct and efficient stocktaking process—as further stated in the Communication—primarily affects the reliability of the results, reduces the time and cost intensity of the inventory, and minimizes disruptions to the company’s operations during the stocktaking.

Key functionalities of the AMS OPTIest® system:

  • Management of fixed assets,
  • Controlling the full lifecycle of asset elements,

  • Preparation of durable labels with prints that uniquely identify or link assets to records,
  • Automatic generation of inventory sheets (partial and final) by the system,
  • Loading documents/instructions/inventory regulations from disk,
